Surgical technologists assist in surgeries under the supervision of surgeons, registered nurses or other surgical personnel. They are vital members of operating room teams, which most commonly include surgeons, anesthesiologists and circulating nurses.As a student in City College’s Surgical Technology program, you’ll learn common operating room procedures and how to work under high-pressure situations so you can have a positive impact on patients.
